DAY 1: Sitka
Welcome aboard! Meet the crew and your Wellness hosts Steven and LeAnne, settle in, and relax with your shipmates. Within minutes you’ll be cruising the scenic channels of the Inside Passage.
DAY 2: Krestof & Nakwasina Sounds
Along Baranof Island’s western side and the shores Krestof Sound and Nakwasina Sound lay hundreds of remote, uninhabited islands. Discover intertidal zones, or from your skiff or kayak, watch for whales and sea lions. Core strength and kayaking go hand-in-hand—energizing core-power kayaking will have you feeling the burn. Gear up for a guided hike in the vast Tongass National Forest. Or, hold your tree pose in a beachside yoga session. This evening, get an introduction to the healing powers of Alaska’s plant life with a special wellness presentation by your hosts—knowledge you’ll be able to try out on shore throughout your voyage!
DAY 3: Neva Strait / Sergius Narrows
Scenic Neva Strait winds into rugged Sergius Narrows. Opening at Hoonah Sound, the narrows is a great place to watch for bears, otters, whales, and eagles. It’s also a great setting for cardio power on the bow. This evening, toast another day of amazing adventure with a frosty microbrew, hot toddy, or nourishing herbal tea.
DAY 4: Chichagof Island
Morning sun salutations honor the light within, and the natural beauty all around you. Wend along Peril Strait, meander the coast of Chichagof Island, and marvel at unbelievable glacier-carved fjords. Anchor in a remote cove and explore by kayak and skiff. Or take a shoreline stroll with the option for guided walking meditation. Hit the trails for a forest exploration and power core hiking. Or put into practice all you learned about healing flora with a guided walk in search of leaves, berries, ferns, and pines.
DAY 5: Icy Strait
In some of the most remote reaches in Southeast Alaska, kick off the day with an invigorating cardio and core power session. Join your expedition team on deck in search of whales and marine mammals. Then begin your land and sea exploration with core power kayaking led by your Wellness hosts, or paddle with your expedition guides. Make a close inspection of the coastline by skiff, watching the shore for possible bear sightings. This evening, you’re in for an extra sensory experience—an aromatherapy presentation featuring Alaska plants.
DAY 6: Glacier Bay National Park
There’s no more soul-stirring place to find mind, body, spirit balance than Glacier Bay National Park. A National Park Ranger joins you to uncover coves and corners of the bay. Near South Marble Island, spot brightly-colored puffins, Black Oystercatchers, and many species of rare sea birds. You'll find sea lions, mountain goats, bears, eagles, and spectacular scenic backdrops. Tidewater glaciers sweep like rivers of ice down massive mountain valleys, terminating in the waters of Glacier Bay. Your day is complete with a stop in Bartlett Cove to visit the Park Service's Headquarters.
DAY 7: Captain's Choice
In a setting that could easily take your breath away, practice working on your breath. Morning and evening yoga provides the perfect start or end to your adventures today. In Lynn Canal or Chatham Strait, your captain sets the course. Test your renewed skills of balance and mindfulness with SUP yoga. By guided kayak and paddle board, glide along rocky outcroppings, or choose core power paddling with your Wellness hosts. Tonight, toast your voyage with a festive Farewell Dinner and a “photo journal” of your trip. One final presentation with your Wellness hosts provides tips and tricks for integrating your new level of mindfulness, fitness, and healthful awareness into your daily life back home.
DAY 8: Juneau
Gather for breakfast this morning as you cruise into Juneau for disembarkation. Transfer to the airport or begin your Un-Cruise hotel stay or land tour.
